1 - Reinstall your game.
2 - Downgrade your game to version 1.0
3 - Extract all contents of the mod for the game root folder and hit ''replace''.

Vice Cry Reborn is a unofficial modification of Vice Cry 1.8, which replaces textures in Vice Cry with HD textures. Vice Cry 1.8 have been blended with VRTP and enhanced with artificial intelligence (ESRGAN). Therefore, almost all textures in the game have been replaced. Some files have also been fixed. Add mipmaps, Fixed damaged TXD files, added thousands of HD textures. Removed grass system. UI textures and effects have been improved.

Most recent update tested on all story missions without crashes.
It fixes broken .txd files from ViceCry 1.8.
Change all textures that Vice Cry 1.8 don't change.
Add mipmps on all textures.
Improved UI.
Fix Vice Cry 1.8 bugs.
Fix Vice Cry 1.8 crash in missions (due to vehicles).
All textures resized to 512x512 to cease crash due to memory limit (thare's nothing that can increase the limits, this is due the old game engine. Even fastman or OLA can't do it).

@JaroneVice Cry has a bug where the ground become invisible due to the grass (depending on camera angle). Also, the grass takes between 5 - 10 fps. If you want to restore the original grass all you have to do is replace the file "gta.dat" with the one from Vice Cry 1.8.
