Descrizione

AutoRiga is an blender add-on

that built for modders and skin creators, it transforms any mesh into a fully rigged GTA SA model in seconds. Whether you prefer automatic rigging or a marker‑based workflow inspired by Mixamo, the add‑on adapts to your style and delivers good, reliable results.

*I apologize to everyone who downloaded the add-on before Monday, August 3, 2026. The add-on released before this date had a structural bug in the armature that caused the rigged skins don't act properly in the game or would break the animation structure of the game. Please re-download the zips for the add-on and replace the previous add-on.

Key Features

- One‑Click Auto Rigging
Instantly bind any mesh to a GTA SA armature with optimized weights and good hierarchy.

- Marker‑Based Rigging (Mixamo‑Style)
Place simple markers on your model and let the add‑on generate a precise, custom-fit rig.

- Mirroring the markers
You can place markers in the right position on one side of the body and automatically mirror them for the other side.

- Native GTA SA Armature Support
Uses the correct bone names, structure, and orientation for seamless in‑game compatibility.

- IFP Animation Loading & Preview
Import IFP files directly into Blender to review how animations behave on your newly rigged mesh.

-Native GTA SA Armature Support
Designed for speed, simplicity, and accuracy — perfect for character creators, total conversion projects, and animation testing.

Limitations

-It cannot export anything and only imports ifp files for rig review.

-It cannot rig the bones of the eyebrows, jaw, breasts, belly, and fingertips.

-For robots, monsters and animals skins that means non-human in general speaking, you may need to do some manual editing skins.

@DANCHOUIall auto rig tools may need manual editing, even recent AI rigging technology, it's because every model has it's complexity, but if you found some bug or problem, I'll be glad to you share it.

This is our agreement, red for right blue for left and yellow for center, ok so, although this is rare but it can happen: if the tool doesn't have the correct orientation for left and right, I mean if the red markers appear on the left side and the blue on the right side, don't visually swap and exchange the left markers and the right markers, the best easy way is selecting your mesh and go to edit mode then rotate your mesh 180 degree till the red markers place on the right and the blue on the left, because if you don't do this, i.e. If you select all the markers on the wrong side and move them to another side, instead of mesh rotation method, the whole final armature may be broken and get wrong rotation. Remember don't rotate your mesh in object mode because the markers will get that rotation too, so rotate your mesh in edit mode.
