Building on the great work of Function-X- and Ezekiel, I've made a collection of effects that aims to breathe new life into San Andreas' combat!
Thanks to DK22Pac's awesome Effects Loader, you can use these effects with any effects.fxp + effects.txd, without replacing any files.
Each effect has its own folder, so you can delete any effect you don't like. The game will use the equivalent effect from your effects.fxp.
The effects are adapted to IMFX and work at any Visual FX Quality setting. The mod is also adapted to Junior_Djjr's EnhanceFX, for better vehicle smoke and fire effects!
I've taken inspiration from newer games to try and make the effects look as modern and cinematic as possible, while hopefully still fitting in with the game's slightly stylised aesthetic. I hope you like them!
CREDITS:
Function-X: Original muzzle flash
Ezekiel: Original explosions, fire
Junior_Djjr: EnhanceFX
DK22Pac: Effects Loader & IMFX
LennyH: Headshot gore textures
cgman at spritefx.blogspot: Explosion and smoke textures
MSGDI at Unity Store: V2 muzzle flash textures
ActionVFX: V1 muzzle flash textures
Unity Labs Paris: Smoke textures
WarButler: V2 explosions, blood, & muzzle flash, texture editing, various additions + fixes

@cheeseburger As long as you give credit, then absolutely! I intend on releasing a mobile version once I've replaced more of the game's effects, but maybe you could combine it with Overdose or Remastered Effects for now. I'm working on some new effects that I hope to release soon, so keep an eye on my YouTube channel for the updates.

@jahmshut I think I'll keep everything under the Combat FX name to keep it simple. I have a YouTube channel where I post preview videos and announce new releases, and there is also the official topic on GTAForums. Haven't had any updates since releasing the new explosions, but when I have something new I'll post a video!

@WarButler thanks homie that's what I need.I was download many GTA effects mods and each one have something I like it and to merge between this different effects is effect loader.I know all of that but when I want to use the custom nitro from effects.fxp mod it's not easy because nitro repeated many and many times in this file and I don't know what I will exactly export to get the custom nitro effect mod.

@Khair eddine Combat FX is compatible with effects.fxp mods, as it doesn't replace all of the game's effects (only those relating to combat). Put the effects.fxp in your "models" folder and it should work. Effects Loader prioritises the effects in the "effects" folder (Combat FX), and any effects that are not found in that folder will be loaded from effects.fxp instead. Since Combat FX doesn't replace the nitro effect, Effects Loader will load the effect from effects.fxp.
But if you want to use ONLY the nitro effects from that effects.fxp, then read this guide and try it out: https://gtaforums.com/topic/895084-using-effects-loader-by-dk22pac/
This is only necessary if you want just the nitro effect and nothing else from the effects.fxp. But you can use this method to create your own merged collection of effects from different effects.fxp mods if you want to. Again, this is optional.
I hope that helps
