Description:
1)The name “Speedtail” should be taken seriously with this beauty. McLaren’s fastest car ever built is designed to be all slipstream, with aerodynamics playing into every feature, from the custom wheel covers to the single-piece rear chassis. What better way to take advantage of its 1000+ horsepower hybrid engine and reported 402 km/h top speed?
2)The McLaren Speedtail is a limited-production hypercar that debuted in 2019. As the fourth addition to the Ultimate Series, the Speedtail is a hypercar with grand tourer characteristics.
3)Designed as a low-drag car, the Speedtail uses a streamlined body with an elongated rear. To minimize the amount of panel gaps, the carbonfiber body was constructed with as many large panels as possible, including a one-piece rear clamshell that is the largest carbonfiber bodywork made by McLaren to date. Other notable aerodynamics solutions include the covered front wheels and retractable rear view cameras instead of side mirrors.
4)Similar to the 1993 McLaren F1, the Speedtail has a centrally-located driver position and two passenger seats behind on each side, providing greater visibility for the driver. The passenger seats are incorporated into the chassis to increase rigidity and space.
