Description:
The M2 Competition is based on the 2-series platform but is easily distinguished by its larger fenders and aggressive fascia front and rear. The M2 Competition is powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder engine that produces 405 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. All that power is driven through the rear wheels via two different transmissions, either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed double-clutch, and an Active M differential. High-performance anti-lock brakes with compound cross-drilled discs work with electronic stability control, staggered 19-inch forged aluminum wheels and M sport suspension to keep things under control. Standard features include satellite radio with a 12 month trial, LED headlights, auto stop-start, M Sport exhaust with electrically controlled sound flap and launch control when equipped with the optional double-clutch transmission. An optional Executive Package adds heated steering wheel, adaptive LED headlights with high-beam assistant, wireless charging, WiFi hotspot, and speed limit info. The M2 Competition is unchanged for 2020.
