HelmetControl – Manual Helmet On/Off System

Helmet Control completely disables the default helmet system in GTA V that automatically equips a helmet when the player rides a motorcycle. Additionally, it offers full, manual control over this action via a dedicated shortcut key (J), which opens a menu allowing the player to manually manage helmets and re-enable the enhanced automatic system.
Features in version 1.0:
✔️ Disables the game’s default automatic helmet system
✔️ Realistic helmet on/off animations
✔️ Works both on and off motorcycles
✔️ Compatible with story characters and freemode male/female models

✔️ You can change the key used to equip/unequip the helmet in the HelmetControl.ini file. The default key is H.
✔️ You cannot equip or unequip the helmet while inside any moving vehicle. The animation is only possible when the vehicle is stationary.
✔️ The script loads default helmet settings (Helmet_1 option) for each character directly from the HelmetControl.ini file. You can easily set your own default helmet by editing the DrawableId and TextureId for Helmet_1 in the appropriate section. In this version, the script ONLY uses Helmet_1 as the default helmet.

✔️Multiple Helmet Support: You can now define up to 6 different helmets per character in the .ini file and select them from the menu.
✔️Improved Auto-Helmet with Control: An option in the menu to toggle the automatic helmet equipping on/off.
Fixed
✔️Prop Interference: The script no longer removes head props or helmets equipped by other mods (e.g., Menyoo, Simple Trainer) when the script's helmet is disabled. This ensures full freedom when using character appearance modification mods.
✔️Stability: Improved stability when switching characters or loading the game, eliminating potential bugs.
Requirements:
- ScriptHookV
- ScriptHookVDotNet 3 (nightly latest version)
- Lemon UI
Installation:
1. Download and extract the archive.
2. Copy files to your Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/.
3. Launch the game - you're all set!
