A new baseball cap for Niko inspired by classic low profile caps from the late 2000s particularly the New Era 9TWENTY and '47-Brand silhouettes.

The cap features six color and design variations including several fictional, lore friendly designs made to fit naturally into Liberty City's clothing and branding. It also includes six alternate plain textures without any logos for a more understated look.

Includes two models allowing the cap to be worn either forwards or backwards.


The original base model was ported over from GTA V then completely reworked and adjusted to fit Niko’s head shape and proportions, all new texture maps were created from scratch in 2K and then downscaled to 512×512 to match the rest of IV’s clothing so it blends in naturally with Rockstar’s assets.

The cap is set up as a sus2.wdr, meaning it won’t be removed when Niko enters a vehicle or get knocked off during combat. It stays on just like any other normal clothing piece.

Before equipping the cap, make sure to remove Niko’s hair using your trainer. The hat was made to fit a bald/clean head base, so removing the hair first ensures it sits correctly without any clipping.


As usual everything was put together using Blender/Substance and finalized in 3ds Max to get it properly in game.

If anyone experienced with IV clothing workflows has suggestions on how I can improve things further, I’m always open to learning more.
